my very first incarnation of titania - queen of the fairies. i actually got inspired to do this because of a character on the disney cartoon gargoyles. there was this character titania. also, i've been fascinated with celtic mythology so here she is.i actually drew the eyes and the figure separately, but when i was making the splash page for my webpage it just sort of came together. i never meant them to be together. it was an idea on-the-fly. worked though.
didn't really know what colors i wanted to use so i went with a light blue, red, and yellow. just basic tints. it was my first attempt at coloring.

Its a really well balanced picture! The eyes in the background are good too. firery colours again! Again, the colouring and lighting is fantastic.

Very nice, the dark look of the pic goes well with the Titania character (either she be the one from WS or the one from Sandman) since she has this way of being totally scary when angry. The pic has a cartoon feel to it, it reminded me of Masters of the Universe for some reason. Good job! Eheh, gotta go check your gallery now!

thank you. yea, most of my work have a comic/toon look to them. glad you liked it. i think it's the eyes that gives it that dark feel.
