ATTENTION:I have gotten numerous requests for tattoo designs as a result of this particular deviation. Firstly, I appreciate your comments and compliments on this piece. Any person who is interested in commissioning a tattoo design is free to send me a message (note) via deviantart. Fees are negotiable. I look forward to hearing from you!

Drew this as a tattoo design. Don't know what colors to use for it...
EDIT:Finally taking the advice of a fellow poster and putting a watermark on it to prevent copyright issues... not that I expect people to steal it... but I want to be the only person with this design on their body! If you want a wing design feel free to ask me to design you some -- I would be happy to! (free, that is)

These are beautiful, unfortunately, your image is all over the net. That's the problem with tattoos. Their designs are so easily attainable, making it difficult to have a one of a kind design. That's why I stopped posting my tattoo designs and only post the completed ink on my skin, hard to duplicate totally that way.

Oi.. I came across this very nice picture ye have done.
I sometimes does digital avatars and such. As for now I'm trying to make one for a friend. In my head I had this idea that the picture would have wings entangled as a background. Or perhaps entangled with the letters. So I was looking around the net for Creative Common picture, and one link lead to another and then I stumbled up here. I of course wouldn't use anything without permission. So I wonder if ye would like to make a pair of wings?

I have posted somewhere... hopefully on this page, that I have come to a point where I can no longer do these designs for free. Outline-only designs are $2/sq inch, and shaded or colored designs are $3/sq inch. With wings I only charge the price of a SINGLE wing since I will take the drawing and mirror image it in photo editing software to ensure its symmetrical. I would LOVE to help you out... if you're still interested let me know and we can work something out!

If I had free time I would, but unfortunately I don't. My best suggestion to you would be to print off this image and bring it to a professional tattoo artist who can make some changes to it to make it an original design for you. Sorry I cannot help you myself!

omg I'm so in love with it, you design such lovely fairy wings. *falls in love with them* I would love if you would conisder takeing the time to design me a pair, I want a tattoo similar to what you got yourself, I've been planing it for awhile, but I couldn't design anything good enough myself and the only person I knew who might be able to do something I might like would charge ALOT.
If you would please I would be very gratefull, though, if you do, I would like the wings tilted more, so that they could spread over the back of my shoulders slightly. Thanks alot. ^_^

Oh, no... I wouldn't add color to the original... it would be in photoshop, if anything! I think I'd like it to be all different colors. And I'd like it to be all pastel-y colors... and to look transparent so you can see shadows of the veins on my 'skin' underneath the 'wings'.... Thanks for checking me out, Estara.

apply something like what? I believe that when you post artwork on DA it gets automatically copyrighted (see above the image, it says "~(roguewyndwalker) 2006 (c)"... if you still think it needs more I'd love to hear your suggestions.

verry nice design .. but i sudgest that u aply sonething over coz there r so so so many people who use all the tats on the net without any copyright.
It looks verry well and that's why it should be protected.
