Description This was a design for a tatto for a friend of mine. The entired concept was hers, I just took her ideas and put it to paper. I know that I really like it -- if she doesn't get it done I just might instead!!! She is planning on keeping it black and white just like this. Please let me know what you think!

Oh, I just love this kind of drawings. I'm very much attracted to the image of the spiral Goddess. Spiral is my favorite shape and symbol, in fact, and when I see work as great as this one, it makes me stare at the screen in adoration.
It will surely make a wonderful tattoo to show off and be proud of oneself (pagan self!) .

I, too, really love spirals. I am a Reiki Master and there are a couple symbols that are used in reiki that include spirals and they are my favorite ones to use! I'm glad you like it so much... thank you for your kind words!

Blessings and Light!

Wow. Seriously M'dear, you have a nack for Goddess tattoos... My jaw dropped when I saw this, is absolutly beautiful The goddess looks so perfect! Personally I could see a nice wash of blue (like the sky or something) on the back to give it a little something extra, but just the lines its self are gorgeous D Keep up the good work!

I am actually working on a variation for myself that has color in it. The girl who request this design asked for it to be just the black lineart (to match her other tattoos). The one I am working on has green leaves, and the goddess and moons are ivory (I am shading them appropriately to show shadow and highlights)... I am planning on getting a variation of this tattoo myself. Thank you so much for your compliment

This design is exactly how the individual for whom it is intended wanted it to be. This is a goddess symbol. The woman in the middle represents the goddess. She has an ample bosom and hips to show that she is a motherly figure -- the personification of motherhood. The spiral in her belly denotes the womb and represents re-birth (reincarnation).

Here is a German interpretation of what I wrote above in case any of the words I used you aren't familiar with. I can't promise that it will be GOOD German since it was done through an online translator, I still hope it helps!

How was the translation? How badly did they butcher your language? LOL

Yeah, it may be translating word for word instead of putting it in the correct grammatical sentence order...

An interesting concept would be if she added characteristics to the small woman that she owns, like if she has piercings or other tattoos, or if it'll be frontal tattoo Still, it's nice

I wouldn't want to toy with the symbol because it is like that for a specific reason... (see my comment above). Plus, it is too small to add tiny details like that. She (the female figure in the design) is supposed to be without any features.

(Plus, ist es zu klein, kleine Details wie das hinzuzufügen. Sie (die weibliche Abbildung im Design) soll ohne irgendwelche Eigenschaften sein.)
