Possibly a result of watching too much batman (if that's possible) I've made my regions bat pokemon:

#56: Batratch (the name's based upon the noise it makes)

Type: Dark/Flying
Ability: ?

Batratch's ears and nostrils are so large that its eyes are completely obscured. Batratch use supersonic frequencies to navigate, communicate and attack.

#57: Batreech (once again, the noise it makes)

Batreech's entire body, including its impressive wings, directly funnel sound into the eardrum. With barely audible flight, Batreech hunts throughout the night with frightening efficiency.
