my newest oc, Kastanie//////

This little tsundere lady is a demon from another realm who has stepped in to the human world to guide the souls of people who are going to die.
She herself however got trapped in the human world, making her turn mortal for the time being. The only way for her to go back to the demon realm is for herself to die.
So you can say she has mixed feelings towards the human world and humans. But, that doesnt stop her from gaining interest in the poor unfortunate human souls.
She is in fact quite facinated by relationships between humans, and the idea of romance and love.

The dark gemstone, bathed in a blue flame, is the one thing that keeps her alive as a demon in the human world. Her soul is bound to the gem, meaning, if it breaks, so does she.
Whenever she gets injured or hurt in any way (whether its physically or emotionally) it will show on the gem. Emotional as well as physical wounds appear as cracks in the gem.
The gem does heal though, as the demon herself recovers.

I'm thining of making this a closed/open species.. Gemons, is what i'd call them. #clever
