Here is the constructive critique you wanted:
I think that the composition is very effective here and conveys a sense of emotion. The focus and contrast are well done and the added color of just the umbrella is always effective. Although to be honest it has a vibe of a insurance ad shot to it, you know like the whole we got ya covered.
