While scouting ahead to the east, Blimp comes across a spectacular and somewhat ominous, but- given the current situation - also quite welcoming sight: A town built out of wrecked ships on a slope leading up the cliffs. He hurries back to the Boy and Elizabeth, and together they take a short detour west to pick up Toka again (if they didn't recruit her in the volcano, this is their second chance to do so), before making their way east to this new location.
