Description
Following the lead on the case of the missing amulet that could get them to the city of Nobilia, the party makes their way east from Crustacia, where they find the entrance to the coastal cave.

In the original game, the deceptively named and even more deceptively advertised as "powerful" Amulet of Annihilation is sold for 10.000 jewels in Crustacia, but turns out to be nothing more than a one-way ticket for a combat-free ride to Nobilia. And even though walking through the desert is tedious, it is ultimately the much better option. You can even get the same amulet in Nobilia for much cheaper! But the game goes out of its way to hide that fact from the player and trick them into grinding money for a completely unnecessary purchase. That's beyond bad design!

My idea is to instead make the amulet an award for a side quest that grants unlimited rides between Crustacia and Nobilia. But skipping it and just walking through the desert is also still an option.
