Description A painting done to practice my brush skills, I have been painting alot with a palette knife up to now and wanted to see if I could paint with brushes again, its been years and years. No real meaning behind this, the image is quite an old one Ive had from long ago and it doesnt look anything like the reference ^_^;;

heeheh yeah I realise there are several different "styles" to it and is not completely homogenous.. I need to practice more.

HI man thanks alot, Ia m really happy with how it came out!

Wooo you started using oils !! everytime I think about oil painting I think "omg what a pain in the ass" and then I forget about painting with oils ... I will go take a look !

Well i used a now sort of oil.
this one you can mix with water no mare thiners.
And when your done you can clean your bruches with water.

ahhh I have heard about people who use these new oils and it makes me wonder, if they look the same as normal oil paints? If I use oils I would use the traditional oils, if I have to make extra effort to use oils I might as well get for free !

Hi thanks so much, I have been wondering about the eyes, I think they might be a bit bright, and too sharp but its too late now, Ive varnished it and I have called it a day.

The eyes are fine. The way they pick up the light draws the viewer to them and into the painting. Excellent!
