What I like about them is they are like Frasier and Niles, except more violent.

Oh my, they look so sweet I could eat them <3 The coloring you've made looks so smooth and great, I'm in love. It's good to have this side of their relationship shown, in my mind they have such lovely brotherly chemistry going on with bickering and stuff.

xD me too! I used markers for this, and it came out suprisingly well. I think I've found my new art tool! I colored it carefully to go over the patches. You know how when you color with markers it leaves streaks and lines. Thankfully the yellow dried evenly on their faces!
mmm yes, I love their relationship, how complicated and intimate it is. I'm sure I'm reading very far into it, totaly making this up, it might not really be like this in the show, but I really don't care. lol I think I'm getting it somewhat right, no one has accused me of being OOC yet.
I love it too, even though he's kinda fat! But giving him a belly like that makes him look curvy and rather endearing. He lost weight when he went to Italy, and he looks really good (when doesn't he?) but he's just so cute when he's fat lol

Markes do work well, yellow is in anycase such a forgiving color in markers, since it's nearly impossible to get too dark out of them. It's not as easy with blues or reds, but it's easier to get even produce out of other colors if it's not used for skin^^
I don't think you're making anything up from their relationship, though I have much of same views that I'm not completely objective. But I think that their relationship is really complicated, a lot of sibling rivalry, old grudges, but in same time there's obviously love and other deep emotions. Thats why this so interesting!

I used to avoid my markers beucase they are hard to use, with the streak problem. And the peach skin color one doens't look good at all. I'm thankful that these characters have easy to color yellow skin! haha
I always get paranoid about going too far with my interests and doing OOC things in my art. I know I shouldn't, because I see a lot of other people doing very creative things with their art. I guess I"m sensitive, having been critized for that before. I do want to be true to the essense of their character and relationship, though, because I care enough about them thta I want to get it right.
But I have lots of ideas and still worry that people will slam me for them because they're really out there :[
