So yeah I thought this would make me feel better by making it but yay I failed at happy........Anyways!
This is a furry version of !thetifftiff 's um... emote! It was just so cute I couldn't not make it!

I was wondering if I could re-color this to look like my fox OC?
I wouldn't change anything other than the color (Which I would do VERY carefully to make it look nice so I don't ruin your awesome emote)

Simply put, Creative Commons is a license that allows others to share what ever work is licensed under it and do any of the following (if you choose to allow them):
[Make Derivative] This means (remember, IF YOU ALLOW THIS) to take the art that has this license and use it in their own art (kind of like a stock image). You can even make it so that if they do, they have to release that art under a similar CC (creative commons) license.
[Allow commercial uses of your work] Fairly self explanatory.
Basically you allow people to (at least) distribute this image with out have to worry about breaking copyright law (cause you're allowing them in a way that is easy to understand).

Ah, I see. Well I'll probably will not do that. While people making fan art of my things is nice, I don't like people abusing my art, and that's normally what happens when I allow it for free use.

How would it be abuse if you just allow them to show it where ever? Thats an absolutely basic part of CC. You can just give people the right to just be able to share it. Don't have to do any of the other things.

But how is that abuse? The original is still intact and what they create from it becomes their 'shit' (as you say), separate from the original.
But this is getting out of hand. My original point was saying you should put this under a license like this [link]
Thus allowing people to use the image on forums, other websites, and what not. I wasn't saying you should allow them to make derivatives of it (although that would be cool too). Just allow people to freely be able to share the image on other sites.
