They have no purpose

Do not mourn when a life is lost
Things do not laugh or smile
Their eyes do not light with mirth or get cold when their time comes
Yet all we are concerned with is things-Inanimate, unfeeling things
And if you are concerned with only things life fades quickly
You lose your soul and you yourself become only a THING
