Even though you watch him from afar, its funny how things change over time. You started to remember the time, where you first met Hiccup such a friendly guy who was like you. A hiccup.

Flashback

Sitting in the cove, nobody ever came here. You at the age of 6 throwing pebbles across the water. It was lonely here, still doing the same thing over and over again. It was boring, you kept doing it until you decided to look up at the skies. You notice something flying really fast, you didn’t know what it was, but you were curious to say the least. You were about to get up and search for whatever it was, until you turned your head seeing Hiccup. You knew him, he was an outcast in the tribe, everyone picked on him, saying he should have never been born, but his father did care for him. Which you didn’t have, he looked at you with a big smile on his face. You ran to him as you could have sworn you saw him blushed a little. He looked at you and he took your hand.

“Come on __________ lets do some fun.” In the end you both became great friends.

End of Flashback

Than their was the time, when you first met your night fury, it wasn’t long before Hiccup found Toothless, you looked down at your night fury petting her black silky scales shining against the sunlight. She smiled at you while she purred.

Flashback

You still remember when you were young, you wanted to find whatever was flying in the skies. At the age of 16, you were out in the forests searching for it. You than started to hear a noise, it didn’t sound like a wild hog, but it was more of a dragon. You passed a few trees, a few bushes, than suddenly you saw her. A night fury, the unholy offspring of lighting and death, she was beautiful in your eyes, but something wasn’t right with her. You slowly walked up to her, she looked at you and growled, yet you heard a voice as well.

“Leave me alone human!” you were shock to hear this, but you started talking back.

“I’m hear to help you, just let me see what the problem is.” you spoke to her, but she growled again. You touched her wing, and slightly lifted it up a bit. She moved out of the way, but pain flowed in. She whine,

“Stop, you’re only making it worst!”

“It wouldn’t be worst, if you stopped moving.” you growled back, but she stopped and her eyes flickered.

“You can hear me?”

“Apparently.” once you lifted her wing, she helped you out a little, you saw that her stomach was bleeding and she was injured. You looked around for anything to help her. You noticed some herbs to ease some of the pain, you than teared a bit of your clothing and wrapped around the wound. She looked at you and nudge you.

“Thank you.” you nodded to her. You didn’t seem afraid around a dragon, no a night fury. Of all dragons, you weren’t afraid. You helped her up and started walking with her. You knew the perfect place for her to rest and stay, the cove.

By the time you reached the cove, you made her a bed along with some fish you caught in the water. You also brought her some water that you made out of anything you could find in the woods. You check her wounds if the bleeding was overdoing with her moving.

“I owe you my life human.”

“You can call me ____________. And I couldn’t leave a dragon like that.” you teared a bit of your clothes and rewrapped it again. Once you were done you notice it was getting close to darkness. You stood up and looked back at her. “I have to get home now, I’ll come back tomorrow.” she smile at you.

“What should you call me?” you were a bit confused at this, but a name was better than saying ‘No Name’.

“How about Ava?” she thought about it as she nodded.

From that day on you and Ava had many adventures, she even let you ride her. After the battle of Red Death, dragons everywhere lived together on Berk. Hiccup on the other hand, became well popular, sure you yourself have a night fury, but you were a nobody just like when you were younger. Today of all days was not a good one. The Berserkers were coming to Berk and just hearing from the chief all the dragons must be put away. It wasn’t fun and since it has to do with the peace treaty, it must be done. Though in this memory it just ended with Dagur saying he will make you his. Well it has been five years since than and Dagur wasn’t seen since. You sigh as your heart kept pounding against your chest. Seeing Hiccup change over the years made you smile. You always wanted to be with him, but with Astrid his girlfriend/fiancé you knew you never would have a chance with him. Except for Ava, she and Toothless got together and are lovely dovey. You were jealous, yet you were still very happy for the both of them. Hey, the only night furies in the world have to be together, if they were the last ones it would be terrible. Looking out in the sunset, it was peaceful, Ava was playing with Toothless. Hiccup seeing his father as usual, Astrid hanging with the gang, you just sigh to yourself. You wanted things to change, but did Hiccup even notice you anymore?
