Description
Postcard design featuring characters from my comic OSCP .You can read the online version of OSCP at Smackjeeves .
I managed to get the postcards printed in time for Anime North! Hooray!!! Come by my table at the Comic Market. It is table B13 under the name saicoink.
Anyway, I pulled an all-nighter just to get this done on time. I got the postcards in the mail today which made me really happy. They matte coated both sides though so uh... you need to use a pen that has permanent ink (like a Sharpie) in order to write on the surface. Oops. D: Next time I will be sure to use another type of paper. I guess the coating makes the postcard more durable though! Either way, it feels really nice and is printed using offset printing.

I think I will be sending them out to people who have ordered in the past sometime soon when I have some more money. I guess if people want more than one then I will have to sell it to them or something. D:
Anyway, thanks for the comments on the illustration. The moon-like circle in the background took me forever to think up. It really helped to bring the piece together.

Oh- the original concept was totally not as good as this. It was supposed to be Jirou with a circle behind him and some flowers in the background and Oscar in a different pose holding a book near his face with a similar circle/flower background like Jirou's. That original concept was based on a children's magazine from the 1920s that I saw several years ago.
Yeah- maybe I should make more postcards and sell them as a set. I need to make more designs though. ;_; Plus it is kind of expensive since I need to make 300 postcards with each design- I don't know how I can get rid of all of them. @_@;

300 isnt that much...some sent with maybe issues of the comic...some sold at cons and some in a set? that way...it gets distributed?
(and maybe some for personal use like~'hey *friend*, happy valentines/birthday/merry christmas/just thought I'd give this to u card'~
