This piece has, though a commission, has very personal implications for me. My wife has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. Her strength in the face of this adversity has been nothing short of amazing. She is a constant source of inspiration for me, and a reminder that there are few things in this world more powerful than the human spirit.

In this piece, I wanted to depict Powergirl as an unstoppable force of determination and willpower. Even though she's surrounded by adversity, she remains powerful.
