Finally!
I haven't posted anything worthwhile since January. Curse my inability to draw anything remotely decent these days. ;u;
My skill level was definitely not high enough to accomplish what I wanted here.
I like how Avril came out, especially her face, but am not fond of everything else. In the end, I'm rather disappointed that I couldn't convey the intensity I wanted. I got impatient, and the picture suffered greatly because of it.
At the same time, I'm happy I attempted it. It was a learning experience. One that taught me what I need to focus on improving so that I may one day come back to this concept with enough skill to pull off what I had originally intended.
Used a reference for the reaching hand.

This looks absolutely amazing... I love the colours you picked and how they contrast with each other. You've really improved since the last time I saw your art ;A;/ Each and every picture your draw is either very expressive or just breath taking...
