Somewhere beneath the stars and moon, I imagine.

A place where mistrust lurks below the surface,
and where the weight of worlds collide so mightly
that the hammers of gods are children's toys.

The cemetery of the heart and soul is the sea,
be it the ocean, the mind, or the eyes of a lost love.

The water creeps in and consumes,
blood filling the lungs of this writer.
It's time to drift away to another world.
