I'm using that geom importer script for blender 2.49b but all my editing I do in blender 2.75 currently

Okay so I think I got all of this stuff, but when I downloaded one of Kijiko's Sims4 hair to convert, the s3pe won't open any of the .package files that came in the zip. This is what it says:

Okay, got that thing to work. But now I have another problem ;~; I'm sorry if I'm being annoying, if I once learn I won't bother anyone because then I can do stuff myself.
Anyway, is there also an updated plugin for blender for sims4 geoms? I downloaded blender 2.49b, extracted the plugins in scripts folder but the .geom won't load, it says python error but the box doesn't explain what's the problem.

Well I need to go to work from tomorrow, today I finally had a day off and wanted to do some stuff but in the end I did nothing and I'm pissed at myself, I hoped I could at least get this to work and convert some hairstyles for my model edits in future. *sigh*
