I was looking through some old sketches and i found one i did of Alice Tompkins from the show "the Critic" but instead of just scanning the sketch i had i just drew her again, but in more of a chibi style, which is kind of inspired by some other artist. I really dig her design and her voice.Related content

well the full quote was "We have a saying down in Tennessee, be a mensch not a shemdirck." So im sure the joke is that she learned this yiddish phrase in a place where you wouldnt usualy hear yiddish

I think it's implied she kept her Married name after she divorced, as she Identifies herself as Alice Tompkins but I may be wrong and Tompkins was her Maiden name.
