Ive been playing Tenchu, and Ayame is cool so im trying to desiging a character that looks like her, I think i leaned to heavly on Ayame's design and the kunoichi from disgaea but its hard to do some thing new with out going too far away from what you wantRelated content

I was like "oh!" when you mentioned Tenchu, it's prolly my favourite game and I can see some similarities between your and Ayame's design.
Here's the thing when trying to design an outfit for either a ninja or a kunoichi - people already have this idea of what a stealthy assassin should look like, so there's not much leeway when it comes to tweaking the design. What I try to keep in mind when trying to make my own is that the costume should be comfortable and practical for sneaking around but still have enough stuff to make it badass and distinguishable from other designs.
I think you're going in the right direction, especially with the top and the gloves. Don't sweat it, the longer you think of the kunoichi as a unique character the easier it will be to come up with something unique. Hope that helps X3

I'll definately agree with ya on the Kunoichi part, and yeah, it's really hard to do what you were doing.
I've made at least 2 kunoichi designs, and pretty much every design I found has a similar outfit. ohe thing I tried using alot of in my designs were fishnets
