His left foot (Our right) looks so sunk in and tiny for some reason! I know it's at an angle, but I can't get rid of that disillusion in my head.. but man oh man this is just fantastic otherwise.

Well I do, Sonic has a bloodline to Mickey Mouse in many ways.
Sonic has always had that rubber hose effect, spawned by the ol inkblot days.
But Sonic has many ties to Mickey because of the way he looks...
The rubber hoses, the eyes, the gloves are all ties to old school Disney and other studios.
Bosco also had rubber hoses too, it was more something thet used for non humans back in the day.
