Cool! I am going to create steampunk jewelry too, I'm now collecting old alarmclocks. Can you give me any advice?

Get a hammer and two bricks to knock out the pole things in the middle of the gears. lol Getting the pole things out was the most frustrating part of taking gears from alarm clocks. You might need two pliers as well. For making the jewelry, just have fun and make stuff you would want to wear! Oh, and E-6000 glue is good to use if you want to hold metal to metal... or pretty much any material. lol JB Weld Glue also is good too(It supposedly hold longer).I hope this helped Let me know if u have any questions.

Thank you! I'm not sure what kind of glue it is, but it's super strong, right? I think I do have some good glue. A hammer and two bricks... I'll try it. Otherwise I'll ask my super strong boyfriend. Thanks for all the information!

I'm offering it to local buyers at the moment, but I might put it up on e-bay in a week or two if it doesn't sell.
