Haha, well also consider wild turkey are still fairly big. With the unusually smaller sized females being about 5.5lbs at their worse, going upwards of 11.9lbs. And even then normally we use toms for food, which at minimum are 11lbs at smallest. With domestic turkey being derived from wild types, well... XD Still would be big when fully grown. Haha.

Besides that, my family used to have wild turkey all over our property in Missouri, and they always seemed half the size of our domestic ones that we raised. Those big white godzilla birds were pretty ugly compared to the smaller, darker colored wild turkeys. Even the toms. I have seen quite a few of em hanging out by our road into the property, long beards and all. They were big, sure, but not nearly as big as our domesticated turkeyzillas.Β
But I really didn't think all that hard when drawing this. Just drew something close to the size I saw in the picture I linked. Maybe she just had a runt. Β XD
