Lol, this was done 12 years ago, before she became more comfortable with her appearance.

Actually, she was based on Appaloosas; the proportions are off though...

I guess it's because centaur stallions are heavy bastards and the "Kenturites" (did I say that right?) strain to support their husbands as they get mounted for that (70's porn music playing in the background). I'm guessing that human consorts are much more adaptable as the Kenturites can lie down and the smaller human male doesn't have the crushing weight disadvantage of the stallion (almost like a child clinging to momma...)
Um...I think I just ruined it for you, haven't I?

Ok, that I haven't thought through.
I've had a rather ambiguous love triangle with my character Turris (a Harrier) with Sheida (my Kenturite) and a human princess in that realm. I haven't decided to permanently pair Sheida with Turris yet.
A dark part of the story is that the Kiburi (Ogres) herd Centaurs like we humans herd cattle. Kiburi eat Centaurs in the same manner. One particular horrible scene is where one deviant Kiburi rapes one of the Kenturites and makes regular night visits, much to the poor Kenturite's dismay.
I have more than just the Centaur/Kenturites in my stories (in my story, their ethnical name is Baurai). Established monsters are the Kiburi (Ogres), Minotaurs (I have no special name for them yet), Matin (reclusive clan of assassin fairies that were invented to foil the traditional image of woodland sprites), Tommok (Neanderthals abducted by UFO's and marooned on this world, where their culture continued to evolve and reached something like the Vikings) and vampires where the lead clan are the Al Kalir. I've even created a cow-taur girl where an urchin Nekomimi gets close to (you can guess why). Then I have the lone Harrier; a winged race from a distant planet where the advanced descendants of humans make first contact with this medieval world, abduct him, and return him to his home world in the 3rd part.
