Description
A request by my friend Nova-Lee-Redcloud , this time in the spirit of the 4th of July. She requested her Nova character to be tied to a rocket and launched into the air. To add comedic effect, I've included 2 birds doing a shock-take as the rocket flies by rather close to their flight path.

That "duck" was intended to be a Canada Goose. I didn't intend to give it glasses, just big wide eyes in a surprise take.

lmaooo either way i love the addition, especially because Nova herself looks wonderful with the way you drew her energetic pose flailing her legs around and her face looks super cute with the thin lips contorted to show off that shocked look! Amazing stuff as always

The lips that convey surprise and shock do tend to be problematic the smaller the area gets when it comes to drawing them, and I'm elated on how it turned out.
