Did you know that werewolves were here way beyond the furry fandom? It just urks so when people keep calling werewolves furries.  Thanks to the fandom for sexualizing them in that manner that now EVERYONE thinks werewolves came out from the Furry fandom but they aren't really considered furries at all. They are hybrids of man and beast.

bro furries are just anthropomorphized animal characters, they've been around since before "werewolves" in the modern conception of them even existed. furry fandom might annoy you but that doesn't mean that they're some newfangled thing these dang kids invented to personally shit on your breakfast cereal. let people have fun, peace
