Description This is only the second emoticon that I have created. Honestly, I hate the process (cause I use Photoshop), but I love the final product. I will have countless hours of fun by just watching it.

As for the emoticon itself, it is an inside joke. I promised it to a friend awhile back and finally got around to finishing it. The story goes like this: Paul (my good friend), had begun to use the phrase "Bam! Herpes" for everything. Even in class, when one of us proved a point to the teacher, you'd hear "Bam! Herpes". (A few times near the end of the year his cell went off, and the ringtone was a loud "Bam! Herpes. Bam! Herpes. Bam! Herpes. Ohhhh...") I had promised to make him an emoticon awhile back, and just now got around to it. But anyway, he had started a conversation on a web community (somethin like the ones where a gamer would have an account and every comment by every person was meant to be a joke ending with "Bam! Herpes", in doing so he replicated Family Guy, just for the hell of it. View it here . So I decided to make it into an emote, with a ninja as the culprit (just wanted to show the gangsta side of the ninjas). Oh, and by the way, my favorite one of the jokes he posted online was "My father came back from prison after doing 10 years because of child molestation, and BAM! Herpes."

And that's the explanation I assume most of you were looking for.

Well, it would be hard to animate in photoshop. I feel for ya, and I only use it for image touch-ups and resizing. :\

Yeah, it is hard to animate in Photoshop, but it's nearly all I got. And thank you for the comment Tara. I'll be back to look at your gallery when the time permits.

Yeah, at one point, one of my friends called his cell just for fun in class.

English class is a drag ain't it? But if you record yourself saying "BAM! Herpes. BAM! Herpes. BAM! Herpes. Ohhhhhh." and get your cell to ring, that will become your favorite class. Hell, if it worked for me with calculus, it'll work for you with english.

It is. But I like to draw graffit on paper and I like it on games (Tony Hawk's American Wasteland, Jet Set Radio Future, and Marc Ecko's Getting Up).

Animating in photoshop is easier than animating in GIMP. xD

I prefer Ulead Gif Animator to either though, simply because it's pretty straightforward and has a nice GUI to it, which is really nice for shareware.

I digress. I think that this is very well done. It has a nice fluidity to it that you don't see every day.

Wow, I just tried animating one in GIMP cause I never knew it could. Yeah, I'm not gonna try that again. Anyway, thanks for the comment and the suggestion to use Ulead. But I can't pay for it, and I'm not about to ask my friends to crack it. So I will stick with Photoshop.

Hehe, yeah. Animating in Photoshop is easy peasy compared to GIMP. I lost my CD to Ulead though, so I have to use GIMP for my animating needs. I suppose that one gets used to it after a while. It's still a pain in the arse though. xD

Ulead offers trial downloads of their software at their website. Fully functional for thirty days. And there are some other freeware programs that can do the same, if not better, job than GIMP. Just look around, they're everywhere.
