I have spent 10+ hrs on this, hoping to make it my best car pic . I hope I have accomplished that with this car. It was done in graphite on vellum bristol. This picture was taken with a camera, so it is a bit lighter than the actual pic. Hope you all like it.Related content

I love Camaros (and other cars) but way back when I bought my first nice Camaro. It was a 68/327 with a three on tree...strange combo but it was Camaro love then and now.
This brings back to that 68 which with a (little) work I thought was a decent street warrior...got blown away in street drag by a Boss 302. He was smoking his tires and I had a lead and then he blew by. So 100+ cars later I build my Street Illegal Nova (on youtube) rimetetube...and went around returning the favor.

Sorry I didn't comment on this but I think it it absolutely awesome, some mistakes but not major! I really like how you did the lighting and shading, I feel inspired to draw cars today after putting it off for awhile. Great choice of car to draw ;D

thank you very much, I think this is my best car yet. We all can only get better with practice, but I've taken a little break from them for now. I am happy to hear that you are inspired to draw cars, It is a lot of fun. I feel that 1969 was the best year for the muscle cars, so I agree it was a good choice.

You can almost hear this car tearing up the track!
I like the composition with the car filling the page at an interesting angle. However, i think you have too much street and not enough sky. I would lower the car on my picture plane if it was me.
Your proportions are close again here, and you did a fine job on the foreshortening. You certainly did a good job of capturing the lines and character of the Camaro.
YOu have a good range of values here, though i would like to see a bit more contrast. And good use of value changes to show the planes and contours of the body.
It's another very good piece of work you have here!

thank you, I wasn't too sure about the road either. There are a lot of things I still need to improve but I think I'm getting there. I do like all of your advise and I try to put it to good use. This one I tried to focus on making a little more realistic than the others.
