The Interstate highway bypasses the town and there are now newer big chain hotels just outside of town. As a result there are a number of deserted motels in Green River. I would have liked to have looked around more, but we had places e needed to get to that day. For this motel, I didn't even get out of the car.

I thought this motel was out of business, but apparently not. There is no restaurant and there is no pool, but there is plenty of creepiness to go around. I've copied a recent customer review for your reading pleasure.

HORROR MOVIE TYPE MOTEL - NO NO NO

The absolute worst. Booked a room here because everywhere else in town was full. Walked into an empty Lobby only to be greeted by a large growling dog....loose in the lobby! Quickly walked back outside because the dog was the only living thing in sight. Within a few minutes a shirtless man in pajamas came out and told us that if we want to check in, we better f**king do it then because he was trying to eat. We told him that the dog scared us and that was why we were waiting in the parking lot. He then proceeded to curse us out using many profanities. We then told him that we were not going to stay there and he laughed and told us that he was going to charge us anyways.

We never made it as far as seeing the inside of the room, but the outside of the building is in complete shambles. Peeled paint, boarded up windows, no lights around the building.
