Salem Illinois B&O Railroad Station September 7th, 2023.

This station as built in 1865 for the Ohio and Mississippi Rail Road. The O&M became part of the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad in 1893, which in turn became part of CSX Transportation in 1987.

An interesting note about this station is that some of the rails on the siding date back to 1900.
