Cat in the shoe, what do you do? Do your ears go muff when jammed in the fluff? Does your nose get cuffed when your face is rebuffed? Your fur looks like soot but you smell like a foot. :3

RoochArffer In reply to SporeRedland [2012-12-23 07:57:32 +0000 UTC]

i am very surprised that my cat does not actually smell like feet

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

SporeRedland In reply to RoochArffer [2012-12-24 01:26:28 +0000 UTC]

Perhaps it is because your feet don't smell like feet? You should check them. It is quite possible that they could be noses and possess the ability to smell rather than the quality.

no my feet smell like feet. well my shoes do anyways... i don't think feet really smell like much on their own.

They probably smell like human. That human smell. The one that everybody is after. All the humans. Even dogs want the human smell (that is why they lick people so much; still no explanation for why they gnaw on chair legs)

RoochArffer In reply to SporeRedland [2012-12-24 20:22:21 +0000 UTC]

i had always assumed dogs and cats were irritated by human smell and so did their best to disguise it with dog or cat smell

SporeRedland In reply to RoochArffer [2012-12-24 21:48:59 +0000 UTC]

Nah... well, maybe not entirely nah. They do make everything around them smell like themselves and they do enjoy the smell of themselves on all your furniture. Hmm. Does your dog rub its face on the couch? Ours does. No idea why, but he grumbles and makes snoring noses when he does it. I cannot assume to speak for cats, seeing as they have a secret anti-human vendetta unless one is rubbing their belly or petting them.

RoochArffer In reply to SporeRedland [2012-12-25 20:09:51 +0000 UTC]

my cat is adorbs and just tries to keep the human stench off of her by cleaning after petting. she rubs against your legs sometimes.
the dog... the dog doesn't have to do anything because the smell from her is strong enough to remain on anything she touches... sadly no snoring and facing rubbing. though there is the snoring while awake...

Clearly the cats of California have developed in a different manner from the feline variety here in Nebraska. The local cats scatter to the four winds when humans approach. All except the duo I cat-sitted for when they were kittens. I refer to them as He-who-chases-butterflies and Pudgious-pillowus-maximus, or alternatively as Those-who-pur.
Dogs each seem to have their own scent and they like to make the house smell like it (though you no longer notice it after a while, just like you no longer notice your neighbor's house smells a like a West Asian noodle hive that tastes a lot like butter). Isn't snoring while awake just snorting?

RoochArffer In reply to SporeRedland [2012-12-26 21:37:25 +0000 UTC]

oh not all of them. mine is special and meows at new people before going off to investigate their shoes.
yeah it's really weird how you don't notice your own house's smell and become accustomed to others' as well
your neighbor's house sounds tasty. i had a friend whose house always smelled like wonderful curry but i never actually saw any curry in the house
and no it was definitely snoring and not snorting. she does snorting as well and that is different

SporeRedland In reply to RoochArffer [2012-12-27 02:54:58 +0000 UTC]

Your cat sounds a lot like a dog. Have you considered a DNA test? XD
It's just home. That familiar smelly smell that smells... smelly.
It was pretty good back when my neighbor made those dishes a lot. Now the house smells like cats and those are not tasty at all. Not that I would know... Curry has a long-lasting smell that sticks to everything in the house, much like fish and bacon.
Animals are masters of all sorts of peculiar noises.

they sold her to us as a cat and she doesn't smell like a dog so i'm thinking she's a cat
now i want noodles and curry
also is today your birthday because if so, happy birthday! and i hope it was good =]

SporeRedland In reply to RoochArffer [2012-12-27 07:43:49 +0000 UTC]

That is usually what they want you to think. Your cat might really be an alien in need of an alibi for a safe home away from intergalactic turmoil.
Noodles/pasta is one of the best foods ever invented.
That it is. Gracias and sí. A pretty normal day of not much happening and like an hour of video games with an hour of Firefly. A good day. Should probably sleep now. lD

maybe she is an alien dog
yeah noodles are pretty dang good
well i'm glad to hear it was good =] i've been meaning to watch firefly again haha
also is it weird to have the birthday right after the christmas?

SporeRedland In reply to RoochArffer [2012-12-27 20:45:34 +0000 UTC]

I've seen a movie about those.
I've only got the first two episodes and I actually grabbed them because I wanted to make them into a DVD for my dad but I can't convert the file out of iTunes format. That would not normally be a problem but he doesn't have the Internet so we can't download free compatibility software. I'll get it to work eventually. lD
It's pretty normal to have the birthday right after the Christmas. They usually lump all gifts and festivities into Christmas so it's just like having a double-stuffed holiday. I used to have sleepovers with gaming and shenanigans when I was younger but now they just excuse me of all responsibilities for a day and I play videogames. The real highlight to it all this year: I received enough money in gifts to break even on school expenses and insurance for the last four months. I can't spend any of it, but yayyyyyyy, not debt!

sorry all i got up to was no internet and i think my mind broke a little
just kidding, the double-stuffed holiday sounds odd to me, i do like having a birthday near the end of the year though because all the games come out then

and yaaay no debt is good

You have a point about that. Everything comes out in time for Christmas and the coveted game of the year slot. Are you similarly not up to anything of great interest this week?
Would be nice to have a job though. :I

You could always take up watching a webseries or a webcomic to fill up vast amounts of time. I watched straight through Dragon Age: Redemption (Kirkwall prequel) and Dragon Age (can't remember the name but it is the connecting piece between Origins and Awakening). I like reading the Blasternation comic because of its pertinence to gaming and generally how it "gets" people outside of the mainstream but at the same time I have my issues with it. Some of the characters are cool and creative (like, well, most of them) while others are just sex-obsessed (like the lead character). Though to be honest, it would be hard to find a webcomic that didn't in some way center around that subject. Webseries like those I mentioned before are much more content driven.
Or there's always just the talking option. Talking is always good in the alleviation of boredom category.

RoochArffer In reply to SporeRedland [2012-12-28 02:31:21 +0000 UTC]

hmmm yes i remembered webcomics a bit earlier... the only ones i am really caught up on are nimona (my current favorite - read thiiiis), awkward zombie, manly guys doing manly things, the meek, and Prequel/Making a Cat Cry
my bookmarks for all the other ones i am way behind on are on my other computer which i could theoretically turn on but ehhhh
and i don't really watch many webseries... i do not know why... just like i don't really watch movies... there is something i like about TV shows hmm
talking hummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I have heard of this one before. I know the zombie (found her by related works on dA coming from OCT groups) and I actually just caught up on the adventures of manly men yesterday. lD I do not know these other ones.
What about really good movies that can be broken into several parts so that they are TV-plausible?
I don't think I know that tune. You can bring your assortment of blankets with you. c:

ooh and johnnywander
prequel is an interactive prequel to Oblivion featuring a khajiit - starts off kinda eh and gets steadily better... i keep waiting for kvatch to blow up
the meek is... i do not even know how to describe the meek other than "i want to know how all these things are related and what happens next" also cool art
nope. see movies end too quickly i think...
need more blankets!

SporeRedland In reply to RoochArffer [2012-12-28 02:56:01 +0000 UTC]

Oh, I do know that one! I think. Involves zombies and living as a beet farmer, right? Cool art is cool.
Ben Hur. Watch that and let me know if it ends too quickly. Mwahahahahaha! (or Lawrence of Arabia)
I'll go ahead and log onto skype and stuff and assume that the blankets have been gathered into a mighty host. XD

haha, ok, some movies are very long but if it's a good movie, then that is probably a good thing

This must clearly be something different. XD
The old epics are absolutely worth the time it takes to watch them.
