Name: Sofia Rosette Keenan

>Named as Sofia, which means "wisdom" in Greek, and Rosette, which means "rose" in Latin.
>She doesn't allow anyone to call her as "Sofia", for she believes that there are only three people allowed to call her with that name--her childhood friends named Zaerith, Cedrick and Khalil (her 'first love' whom she met at the woods when she attempted to leave her house and live alone at the age of 5 due to her hatred towards her parents).

About Rosette:

When she was still the only child, she was taken care of a maid and a butler--Zaerith and Cedric. Since her parents are always at work, the only people she got close with are the two of them, wherein she felt what love feels like. About three years later after she was born, their mansion was invaded, and at some point they arrived in Rosette's bedroom to attack her. Zaerith and Cedric, who both knows witchcraft, protected Rosette until their last breath. Because of that traumatic experience, she decided to study basic witchcraft by using Zaerith's and Cedric's learning materials. While she browsed their books, she knew of the existence of Halloween Academy, and decided to study and train harder in order to enter the said school.

Personality:

Due to her childhood experience where Zaerith and Cedric died and where she was banned from seeing Khalil forever, Rosette didn't feel the need of making any friends and thought of always being alone. She always spends her time studying in their mansion's library, which explains her cold treatment to her own family, especially to the youngest (Maeve Athel). Rosette is also the main reason for the bandage at Maeve's eye--when Maeve asked for Rosette's help about a spell, Rosette accidentally gave the wrong instructions which caused the spell to backfire and hit Maeve's eye. Though her treatment to her younger brother, Alexander, is fair enough (Rosette is rather calm and at peace when she's with Alexander, since she was the one who took care of him when he was still a 3-month-old baby), she's often tactless to her parents, or talks to them as if she's in a business transaction when she doesn't feel like shouting and answering back in a bad manner.

She doesn't mind if she's alone. She prefers to study in their mansion's library without anyone with, especially without the presence of her brother, Alistair/Alexander, who always asks questions to her about witchcraft.

She has always sought for more knowledge and wisdom, and she has a thing for integrity. She secretly has a soft and weak side for her brother, and somehow, for her sister. She hates insects, especially those with lots of legs or the crawling ones--she immediately exterminates them with her gems.

Her main reason for applying to the Halloween Academy is to become stronger for the people she treasures--the people she never want to lose, just like what happened almost 16 years ago when she was still an innocent kid.

Ability:

Rosette has the ability to turn gems into fire, which compliments her skill in gem-forging. She also has the ability to mind-control people (family ability), and uses it to bully Alexander and Maeve end nonsensical fights or when she's really at a pinch during battles.

Her dark-blue hair becomes bloody red when she's really angry.
