So, I stumbled upon this 1 2 , which is a compilation of illustrations of demons from the 1863's edition of Dictionnaire Infernal. It appears that some demons are a little too wacky looking to take entirely seriously. A pregnant anthro elephant? A maned head with a crest of legs? Beelzebub is actually a derpy bee with skull and crossbones on its wings? Come on.

But this little one just caught my eye.
Look at him. It's some kind of a mix between a Pekinese dog and a chicken, with baby goat horns and a goddamn floofy Pinkie Pie tail. You just know that in demon school he got his lunch stolen every day. He grants knowledge of arts and science (nerd) and can make a man invisible (so that he won't be pushed into a locker again). What a loser. I love him. But hey- he became a grand president of hell and leader of 36 demon legions. So what if it was motivated by him never having a date on demon prom?

Ink, dip pen, brush. Three hours or so. I am proud to say I did not have to fix any mistakes or stains in photoshop - what you see is what it is.
