Aight! Finally we have a proper ref of my Main boi Salvo the Hedgehog, hes had many years in the making getting opinions on his design and testing out different colors xP

Personality: Bold, Calm and collected, Stubborn, blunt, Protective to a degree, tired sometimes, a loose canon when enjoying too much of himself when in a good fight, something that stayed from his Overlander days, can be a determined kind of guy in challenges he likes, is nice deep down but only shows it around to those he trusts or when he needs to or shows respect, can be respectful but goes by his own rules, he shows empathy on others who have gone through situations like his or know the pain of loss and of being held as a hostage, can even be jumpy or on guard due to his ptsd from when he was an overlander kid.

Likes: Peace and quiet, Sleeping, Freedom to do what he wants, His homies, Messing with Gears, girls, video games, pranks,

Powers: Has lots of Chaos energy and is hard to control, when in his Hyper Chaos form
his strength and speed are enhanced, and his Chaos Energy becomes more difficult to control due to the overflow of it, which also makes his Chaos energy more dangerous, overtime as he practices and hones his chaos energy he gets even stronger with it, to almost near god-like abilities.

Allies: His team the Raiders, Clove n' Cassia along with their people, the Freedom Fighters, The Acorn kingdom,

1. The reason He has those markings is because he was infused with Chaos energy along with tiny bits of DNA from Project Shadow after Robotnik remembered his Grandfathers project
in the experiments during the years of the Mobian vs Overlander wars, creating these markings, but Salvo doesn't know this.

2. Due to what's now flowing in his veins he has a cure to numerous diseases but he doesn't know this or believes it until much later on due to series of events.

3. Despite the green emeralds all being gathered into the 7, the energy of the green emeralds stayed within him, luckily this wasnt noticed by the chaos god despite this
,but he can't control his power fully and had to be taught how.

4. Specialy Carved Crystal Rings [ CCR's ] were made by Nate Morgan and placed into Salvos cuffs so that its easy to contain the energy as well as absorb it or give it to someone else, one move called Chaos Dispell allows him to let out Chaos energy at an opponent to disorient them or neutralize them, if he has these off for too long, his chaos energy becomes unstable without containment to where he could explode or loose control of himself.

5. When He's very pissed off or Enraged, his eyes and markings change to a darker color, hinting his dark transformation, basically a trigger.

6. He has his own freedom fighting/pirate team known as ' The Raiders ', he's the leader of the group, they go around destroying various Eggman factories, outposts and bases.

7. He one day wants to find the douchebag that turned him into a permanent Hedgehog with no known cure to turn him back into an Overlander again and get his revenge.

8. Sometimes he likes to mess with or annoy Gears the Fennec Fox, they kind of nearly have a rivalry going and Ryden sometimes has to step in between the two when it gets out of hand.

9. He may not run very fast but he's fast on and with his gear, although he tries to exercise to build up his stamina, he doesn't have super speed like Sonic or Rocket Shoes like Shadow.

10. His Soap shoes are modified to his liking thanks to Gears, they have special plated magnets under his shoes that let him stick to his EX-gear and metal surfaces as long as the crystal rings have magnetic energy,
but if he falls off accidently, he has safeguard mini boosters underneath in the center that can open up and give him temporary hovering ignitian which can lift or lower him to safety before the rockets stop, and said
booster ignition is powered by the excess energy in his crystal rings around his ankle cuffs, which even could possibly allow him to fly in the air even without his extreme gear, possibly even allow him to ' run ' in thin air but not forever, its limited due to how low the energy is after dispersing, he got them from his best friend/adoptive brother as a birthday gift when they were just regular custom soap shoes, they are also great for grinding on rails.

11. If his Chaos energy was sucked out of him, it would form into a seperate combined emerald and he would be left with little of his powers and drained.

12. The reason he got the name Salvo is because of the bombardment he likes to perform on enemies, he barely remembers his real name.

13. Hates it when people steal his stuff, especially his food or even video games, gets very blunt and annoyed about it.

14. He had a crush on Sally Acorn once during the war, but after seeing Sonic and her being a couple he backed off out of respect.

15. Since chaos energy is energy, the emeralds are just a vessel, and so Salvo was a next best thing to a vessel for the remaining energies to linger in after the rest of the emeralds were merged into the legendary colorful 7 chaos emeralds when he was being tested on by his own people, the energies basically stuck to him like a very stubborn and ' chaotic ' glue, another reason the energy stuck with him, if he was to separate a certain portion of it, he could technically create an Emerald or two.

Brief Backstory: He was once a young Overlander boy who had a very troubling childhood with his family back home who were occupied with the Great war and had a hard time fitting into the overlander society , he was always a loner, keeping to himself and barely had any friends till one day he was approached with an offer by someone who offered an invitation to the Mobian. Infiltration. Program. [MIP] that he could be a part of, he at first declined the offer since it sounded sketchy and too good to be true to him but he was then told this program could finally win the war between the Overlanders and Mobians, thats when he finally accepted because he was tired of all the conflict, turns out he became a test subject with the newly discovered green crystal emeralds to defeat the mobians by infiltrating them and destroying them from the inside, no matter how they do it the Overlanders got desperate and wanted to win at all costs after their key Scientist Julian escaped and by the time he knew it was too late, at the hands of some evil overlander scientists, this was unknown to the Overlander government or just ' doesnt exist ' to them despite its huge technological jump, he was transformed painfully into a Hedgehog-like Mobian with the mix of different DNA to see what stuck the most along with a few doses of the said green emeralds before they merged, but it turned out to be an incomplete transformation due to the machine malfunctioning unable to contain their unstable power, he managed to escape one night before the full transformation, with the chaos energy he had now flowing in him he was able to use that as a weapon against his enemies that did him wrong but with a catch, if he wasnt able to contain his chaos energy he would practically become a chaos time bomb and explode, to this day he has wanted revenge on the person behind the operations and never wants the fate he had wished upon anyone, but for now after the next Eggman war broke out he decided he wanted to fight back against this immanent threat before their world turned into a roboticized future with no freedom in sight.
