Excellent work. I enjoy seeing the yellowish brown underpainting underneath before the more opaque layers are applied( i think that's what I'm looking at)

I made a mistake with the surround, its silver acrylic paint and I now thinks its yuck, but I like the blossom glad you like it too, like your new id pic

It's actually framed under glass, so I am living with it.

I looked at it again, I think the silver lets the warm tones come forward... dosen't bother me at all.

It?s hard to resist a dog, thing is dogs really only are interested in other dogs, unless your trying to eat something then you get excellent attention from the pooch

We had a minister come round once, only the once mind, and he didn't believe it was apple blossom because it was too big, it was a bit like "father Ted" explaining about far away and close up 
Thing about browsing the galleries here is you realise how much you need to learn, there is some good stuff on line here.

LOL!!!! I love Father Ted, my friend, *Liscannor turned me on to that show. I can just imagine how your conversation went, like Ted trying to explain to Dougal about perspective, while little rabbits are jumping around in Dougal's head.

Honestly that was the level, and he was a very round priest with his pants belt up around his chest, I dont thinks he actually got it. Father Ted is a classic, and rather true to life.
