Here's my new drawing, a tribute to a great man and actor, Daniel Day Lewis.I have a confession to make. Although he's my favourite actor (along with Shia), I somehow haven't yet seen 'There Will Be Blood' (the film in which he is pictured.) I chose to use sepia because I felt it fits with the style of film (even though I haven't seen it!)

I'm proud of this one; I think it looks quite realistic. It took just over 4 hours, using the standard pencils and paper. I used cotton wool to blend.
Again, I've improved more thanks to =Cataclysm-X 's tutorials.

I'm going to try and have a break from drawing because my AS exams are coming up, so this may be the last you see for a few weeks.

I was trying to write a screenplay for a video game, and there was a part that I thought Day-Lewis might be good in. I'm actually still working on his scene.

I suppose it would be possible if it were a high quality project with a serious plot. However I doubt it would ever happen

There Will Be Blood is a fantastic film, very dramatic. I think it's Lewis' best

This is amazing! The details of his hair and jacket and everything, it's perfect. Daniel Day Lewis is so brilliant. I did a drawing of him too, of one of the many smoking-scenes in There Will Be Blood. Great movie, good thing you saw it in the end!

I am going to favorite it this not just because DDL is my favorite actor but because you really did a fantastic job. He really is one of the greatest. I knew that after seeing there will be blood. what a performance. i cant wait for his next film.
