Happy birthday to TigerfishAori !
For his birthday drawing, he wanted 6 different Kirby characters, though he let me be free to decide the scenario. I've noticed that picnics seem to be a reoccurring event in Kirby games, most notably in Kirby 64, so it seemed reasonable for the group to be having a picnic together. And of course, I couldn't forget the man whom this is all dedicated to: Gustavo! I thought it would be appropriate for me to draw him in a style similar to the Ice Climbers (I'm not sure if their design in Melee was meant to be similar to Kirby games, but since HAL Labs made Melee, it really wouldn't surprise me). So Gustavo is getting to celebrate with some of his favorite friends from one of his favorite video game series.
Also, since I started coloring characters with my favorite palette swaps , it seemed only fair to do the same for Gustavo. So I went with blue Kirby, his favorite Kirby alt from Brawl to Ultimate. Goes well with Gustavo's blue jacket.
