Wooooaahhhh, I know!! I'm baffled myself!! Something that /isn't/ PKMNation related? Can it be?
Why yes, yes it can. I've been in an HPM rut lately but after some discussion with Elisaria over Auburn's totem struggles, and finally getting back into rp with Zooala , I've decided to finish this real quick and post! Auburn is my precious child and the both of us have been struggling a lot with her totem as of late- we both really miss her Charmander line, but feel so connected to being a Quilladin. It' a tough choice and who else to go to except for mom?? So that's what Auburn did- went to get some consolation from her best friend. ;w;

Aw, I remember her as a charmander- she has a nice design for both totems; curious to see what her decision will be.
But the art!
It's beautiful; the bold shading, but it has a soft, gradual transition quality within- it's really nice~
And poor Auburn- so sad and hunched! ;-;
Yet, the comforting arm of her mother around her- and they're both crying!
Oh gosh, it's great that the two are so connected, and that her mother empathizes with her so much.

And thank you again!! I wanted to go even further into detail on the shading, but I decided to go against since it would seem to over power the meaning of the image that I was trying to get across, so I think it worked out well! >v<
The poor thing just can't figure out what to do anymore! ;o; Hopefully she'll come to a happy decision soon. <3

Ah, I can understand that- and if I'm not mistaken, you've had her with both designs for some time?
It's a tough choice. ;-;
And that's interesting to hear; it's always good to be able to analyze that, and see what kind of effects are most beneficial for the overall message and effect you want your piece to have. ^^

Honestly it's one of the things I've been working on trying to improve more in private! It's fun to look at all of the expressions I make in the mirror. x'D

Rooos this is so good! First, art-- I'm so impressed! The expression and posing is so expressive, they're not stiff or anything which I find sooo hard to avoid. I can see their family resemblance too, even with different colors, and how Auburn's ears are down and her mom's hair..ahh, this is so good!
Second, even though it's sad, I am interested in seeing how this develops and turns out.

The shading on this drawing is gorgeous, and I love the details of the crying about Auburn and her Mom's face! The blushing really adds to the discomfort you can feel.
