Rianne rubbed the nubs that hid themselves just barely within her curling black locks, her moisturized hands examining the rough material like it was a touchable fossil at the history museum. "Ngh-" She breathed, her hands moving down to probe at the edge of her earlobes, which seemed to protrude more than usual. 'Thank goodness I didn't get that haircut last weekend' she thought as she maneuvered strands of hair in clumps to hide the changes. Truly, experiencing something like this was strange, but she really didn't have much of a choice of something else to do; her daily objectives were to go to her classes, eat meals with friends, and do her studying at home, without making any big waves. To be honest, she just wanted to get her degree. The school's medical office sucked, and her friends always gave awful health advice... so really it would be best to just let this one— whatever it was— blow over. The growth didn't seem to be stopping though, as the nubs she was experiencing texturally could now be gripped. The note taking had to be caught up, and so her curiosity had to be put on hold.

As she wrote, her lips licked at her puffing upper lip, that bent upwards on the edges as the soft feeling of fuzz ticked at the tip of her tongue. She flicked her ears as frantically wrote down the words that struck her, horns now revealing themselves for the rest of the lecture hall to see. It didn't take long before she started to look at the paper in a different way, thinking about how she didn't eat breakfast today... without looking to check for others, she leant down outwards her notebook and took a bite, chewing softly at the pages as it melted within her extending muzzle.

It wasn't until she got home that she realized what was going on. It was like a period of time had lapsed without her realization. She looked in the mirror to examine blades of grass and cardboard that stuck in her teeth, that now lay in a new position on her animalistic face. Now, the pain of growth became increasingly obvious, as her curled horns made impact with some of the doorframes she walked through. Still, the least she could do right now was finish her homework... if she hadn't already ate it.
