Experimenting with a bit of a black and white illustration style. Yeah sure, go ahed! They are just honestly one shot nameless characters that I have come up with in my head '^^ but I think that just is a good thing since that means you have more artistic freedom to work with :3

Indeed, for the story to be good you just need to make sure the added events are worthwhile, it's all about keeping the readers invested after all.
That's key to a good and well liked story. ^-^

Yeah if you decide to describe the taste of the tea your characters are drinking during two or more pages, there's a lot of chance that the reader stop its reading. (Except if there's a link between the tea and the murderer... I'm going far in that one
