hah, you're right X3. if i just break the background up into 3 or four sections it would be perfect for a stain glass colour job. i'll have to try it when i'm free and see if it works out.
As for the feet, the legs ran off the page. The reason for this is i have two ways of drawing something. One where i plan everything out so i can get everything in position (usually use a lot of circles with single connecting lines). the other way is where i completely screw the first part of the image up and then decide to sketch very quickly and randomly, something the opposite of what i wanted to draw.
For example, with this image i was trying to draw a cheetah curled up with a pair of headphones on...... but i made the cheetahface too long and abstract and just went on a sketching rampage instead and decided to take my brush pens to it as well. the feet didn't really matter at that time because i didn't know it was going to be finished X3
One thing i've done a few times in the past though is just tacked an extra strip or whole page of paper on the edge that i ran out of room on so i can finish it off. but that does get rather annoying if it slips out of your sketchbook.
and your right, it is a dragony tail :3
oh yeah, did you end up uploading your dragon lineart?

snowfoxy, meet the dragonface, dragonface, this is the snowfoxy.
Clean except for the heap of pencil lines i can't rub out X3.
You should try using some brush pens, neener :3 they let you vary the thickness of your lines dramatically and you can get nice smooth sweeps with them really easy.
