I go through different phases of obsessing over drawing an object or person.
Well, this is the result of my obesession over carnations! ^_^ This deviation has taken the longest time to make, mainly because of the water. I spent ages trying to find a good tutorial on water. Finally, I just combined all of them and came up with the water the girl is standing in!
I'm quite pleased with how it turned out actually except for the background which is non-exsistant! I can never draw a good background...very frustrating.
I also started to experiment with the lineart to make it look softer and less prominent..hopefully, I got the right effect!
ANYWAY! Hope you like and enjoy!

I see that you have taken quite a bit of time on the water, which looks reasonably realistic. Well, its surface should account for the reflection of the character, right? The outfit design looks very nice and it seems to go very well in this picture.
I guess that this picture is fine without a complex background or no background at all, although this picture will look better with a background.

Well, maybe you're style of colouring is not that. Some people colour soft, some people dont. Thats what makes us all unique as artist ya? ^_^
