The idea for this painting came to me when I was planning to make a design for a t-shirt (I found a website that print anything you give them
), I wanted to finish it before yesterday, to submit it the day of his birthday, and I did it, I finished it last night, but I don't have a scanner so I had to wait until today to scan it at school , anyway I'm happy I managed to finish it Well, I Michael Jackson so much, but I never dared to draw him. I'm not good at drawing real people . I hope my pic looks...umm acceptable? .

I still remember the first time I listened to Michael's music. I was about nine or ten years old. By then, his music was no longer played on the radio, but I had heard so much of him that I told my mom to lend me her cd, she did (always telling me to be careful with her things -_-), so I borrowed my sister's cdplayer and I listened to that cd all night long. I enjoyed it very much so I listened to it every day after that ^^, while I was doing my homework or when I was playing with my cat (I made her dance with me several times ^o^). After that, I looked for his videos, and of course I loved them, each of them like a movie!, ahh... happy times ^_^.
Anyway, I'm really happy that I'm submitting this pic today. It's not Michael's birthday but my grandma's . She loved Michael too, (well, my entire family does) so I know that where she is now, she is enjoying a great concert with Michael (I'm sure she convinced him to sing for her ^0^).
He will always be the King, because of his creativity and generosity and for giving us inspiration and joy through his magnificent music... so...

Tools: mechanical pencil, watercolours, watercolour pencils, silver and white gel pen and black pigment liner.

Your picture looks great, more than acceptable, it's so beautiful and lush, the colors are really very appealing. I remember listening to his music on my parents records when I was little, I use to love them so much back then.

This is amazing.
I really like how you've managed to capture the essence and purity of him in this piece. The stance is great and the way you've drawn the proportions and features is pretty cool as well, although it does feel a bit too feminine, perhaps.
Lovely use of colours and composition, nevertheless. You've managed to make it sparkle in more ways than one.
