If you're a big web surfer, you might've rarely come across moments where you see Dart's face as someone's icon or used in some sort of random video. There's also this: ΒMost people (being non-Thomas fans) who I see use it probably don't know where it actually came from and don't know that it's actually Dart and not Thomas himself. But I can't really blame them since they probably know only of the classic series and not the CGI era.
