I thin k most people only play the game because of th whole "love on the battlefield" thing. It seems like they might as well just make a spin-off dating sim of it and they'd have a game that stilol appeals to most of the fans. Lets just face it, the story and battles seemed like the best part and the relationships were just the icing on the cake. But after a while you realize that your FAVORITE thing about the game is the relationship aspects. Besides, America needs some of those dating sim games that only Japan has! Those seem lik an important part of any otaku's game collection, and I am pretty sure I'd need to purchase and download an English-translated version to even get a chance to play one.

I play for the battles and strategy of such. that's why I bought it. but I've always like getting supports. it was one of the few ways to get to know your units and their personality. specially when not a main character.

But nowadays, what do you do most of the time? Just keep going from battle to battle only utilizing supports as they naturally happen along the way? Or try to get every character possible, marry everyone you can, read every support convo, and work on the supports as much as you can before going to the next battle in the story? Do you really level grind for the experience, or to advance the relationships? I believe some people only do the battling to get to the eventual after-stories in the credits.

right now i'm support farming because I want to get everything. i'm also skill grinding my avatar. I want her to have all the skills she can get.
and I only started support farming near endgame. or with characters that were already married. or when it came to deciding who to marry the kids too. I wanted to see all the supports for them first before making my choice.
but obviously I read every support convo. why would one not read them?
so I can say that i'm playing FE for the story and actual game. the supports are just a bonus.

Some people would play the game just for the battling, and the supports would only be to raise the stats of certain characters and whatnot. Those people wouldn't bother reading the convos, they'd skip through them since they don't offer anything that affects battle. That's why I asked. Because it is getting a bit difficult to tell if people like the game more for the extra features.

why thank you! it's a simple enough style and one I can do rather consistently. also fast since barely any shading.
the hard part is sketching the overall look with their outfits being as accurate and detailed as I can

Some would have been easier than others, I'd guess. Then again, even what little there is of an outfit like Tharja's has a fair bit of detail to it.
