Description
recently, after reorganizing my workspace a bit, i decided it was time for some kind of new art for my desk...so i made some cardboard cutouts of my RO archbishop and her mechanic husband. each one is just under 11" tall.progress shots, from left to right:
1) rough sketch
2) inked with blue and sepia ink, laying some marker coloring down on top of colored pencil details
3) more coloring
4) colors are done
5) adding darker outlines, line weights, and background areas
6) a bit of white colored pencil detail
after all of that, i cut each one out with scissors and a box cutter (i don't have a decent utility knife lol Q_Q,) went around the cut edges with a brown marker, backed them with cardstock and added some corrugated cardboard stands.
it all took a lot longer than i originally planned, due to not having...almost any of the marker shades i really wanted; i had to do a lot of improvising. but my desk is much cuter now, so it's all good ♥

Oh em gee! These are just too cute for words! Priest class sprites were always my favorite(RIP Memoru QQ)! Though my ideal RO hubby was either a Sin or an Archer. XD Blacksmiths are the sechs too though. <3

Of course, if I were going to Otakon this year, I'd so commission you again (last year I commissioned you for my boyfriend's smarty pants elf character hugging my sarcastic character, I love it so much by the way!) for drawings like this that I could make nice copies of (so not to cut up the beautiful originals) and make little standing cutouts of. Do you think you'll be taking commissions through DA sometime soon or after your conventions?

I gotta admit, I always envied your style. It remains unique, yet you can still make everything your draw easily identifiable. I really wish priests/high priests/archbishops could wield staves. ;_;
