Oh look at that, Shade actually let Sonic get dressed for a change; he got his shoes and scardana back, but still has to wear the trammels which are what're keeping his arms behind him. Now that Shade actually knows her mother's intentions, she has to take him wherever she goes.
This doesn't make her look very good in front of the other echidnas tho, as it is the popular opinion among the Nocturnus that Sveins and Meys should remain in the bedchamber, as that is their purpose. Plus, Sonic rejects her affections in front of everyone, making her look like a fool. Of course, she's not so much mad at Sonic for this as she IS mad that the peer pressure from her own Clan is making her feel like she needs to subdue him and force him to submit - which is definitely not the way she wants to go about taming him. Still...
Shade KNOWS what she's trying to achieve and won't let her own people sway her from the path she's chosen - for them AND for herself.
That said, Sonic ain't no dummy. He's impulsive and impatient, but he's not stupid. He might be standing around, but, he's paying attention to EVERYTHING; he's learning the layout of the Argus as he's forced to follow Shade around, gathering intel as he listens to the echidnas discussing its inner workings, etc. Like any good prisoner, he making plans to escape at the first opportunity. X3

SO yeah....
I was basically practicing background elements with the amazing brushes I have in Clip Studio Paint. 'course, this scene turned out quite a bit different from my original idea; Sonic was supposed to be standing in the middle of a group of echidnas -looking out of place- while Shade discussed with them how they were going to make repairs to the Argus.
But I was too lazy to draw all that, so... just decided to make it look as authentically manga as possible while testing out my scenery skills. x3
