Everything had been going so smoothly. Loretta had gotten ahold of someone who could help her set up panels to make a temporary small corral inside of the indoor arena for her first attempt at riding Tanio outside of the leisure tests in the pasture. Tanio was so completely focused on the task at hand- having been walked several times around the new arena.

And then HE came in.

They had been trotting, a slow trot that was just beginning to smooth out. The next thing Loretta knew was the stallion did hard buck and rush towards the fence- rearing up enough to touch hoof on the top rail, his voice echoing through the arena like a dragon in it's lair. The sand was not as kind to land on as she'd hoped, but in all honesty she hadn't been expecting getting thrown.

Her unruly colt-stallion, whatever he was at this point was bellowing out his calls to the other chestnut, pacing the fence and snorting while the darker chestnut ignored him. She huffed softly as she got up and wiped herself off. Well... looks like it was back to some ground work. At least it would be a good opportunity to work on the stallion's attention and ground manners while his 'nemesis' was around, though she wasn't sure if it was the blonde rider- or the chestnut stallion he rode at this rate.

Inwardly, Loretta mentally apologized to the man she now knew as Wilma's younger brother, before grabbing the lunging whip she'd set aside earlier and worked on getting Tanio's attention and focus back on her.
