Background info: Snow Shine is student to Princess Luna, coming from a strict family. Back in canterlot she was often pushing to be the best and top of everything. To her it was always about winning her parents approval, it didn't help that her brother managed to become captain of the royal guard quickly. Luna quickly became a mother figure she never had however she still had a snooty attitude, even with those who considered her a friend. She was quick tempered and often stuck her nose up at those she saw below her. Luna, despite knowing her student had a good heart deep down, decided to send her off to ponyville. On the assignment that she makes some friends. And ofcorse it was rough for her to, Luna also wanted her to check on the celebration preparations.

She met ponies and she'd scare them off. Though five seemed to stick around. Those ponies not only helped her with getting rid of Daybreaker but also helped her unlocked the elements of harmony and taught Snow Shine she can be more than what her parents want. She knows she truly cares about these ponies and Amethyst. Begging Luna to stay in ponyville with her friends and ofcorse the princess agreed to it. Amethyst and her now reside in ponyville continuing their adventures where Snow Shine continues learning friendship, eventually her little sister moves in with her at the request of her parents. After some time Princess Luna sends an egg for Snow Shine, it was a gift from her to congratulate her on her achivements low and behold the egg hatched into a blue pheonix much like the one Princess Luna has.

Snow Shine decides on the name Hestia for the little trickster, constantly at war with Amethyst that the little dragon chooses not to engage in.
