She used to be incredibly shy when she was young. She had a hard time embracing herself and loving herself because she wasn’t full accepted as she was and as a crystal pony. Luckily her time in Twilights school of friendship helped her confidence grow and with time passing by she turned into an open, freely spirited girl who isn’t afraid of showing her flaws and differences. She’s kind, generous and open hearted. She goes to every new creature with a warm smile and maybe a cracked up but well meant joke.

Her open nature also makes her incredibly naive. It’s not rare that she bonds with the wrong people and gets used and misguided in many ways. She’s no one to have preconceptions and sometimes sees more good in other creatures than there actually is. Her habit to hang out with the wrong people left her heartbroken more than once and every time it happens, she doesn’t come out of her room for days. It is easy to earn her trust but it’s just as easy to break her light soul. If there’s one thing she’d have to learn growing older it’d be learning with who to share her heart, recognizing red flags in relationships and friendships and not so easily letting herself get used. But it’s sure that she’ll always keep her bright nature.

She never officially was crowned princess of the Crystal Empire which she’s very happy about because she definitely misses some ruler requirements. She loves practically getting everything she wants and live such a wealthy life in the castle but she definitely DOESN’T want to rule. Some would say she’d take advantage of the life in the castle but she’s still Princess Cadence’s daughter after all.

Peri is very interested in art and creative expressing feelings. She started drawing very early and has her own habit of a very unique and strange style of painting. But she has fun with it so it doesn’t matter to her if others like her works or not. As long as her friends encourage her to continue what she loves she’s good.

Although being bubbly and active all the time Peri can, in fact, be the patience itself. She can sit in front of a white paper for hours just thinking about how to start. She can sit in her room learning for hours (most times she just doesn’t want to). Most times tho she’s actively doing something, may it be painting, going out with friends, taking walks trough the Kingdom, playing with the kids in town, searching for non existing secret hallways and rooms in the castle or redecorating her room for the twentieth time. She loves going out to the northern mountains and play in the snow. Due to her thick fur she has no problem with cold and is twice as active in winter. When it’s warmer though she’s just one big fluff lying around anywhere in the castle. Oftentimes she blocks the stairs down to the basement just because it’s cooler. (And how many times do you think the cook almost got a heart attack when going to the basement and seeing a dark purring thingy lying around by the food supplies in the dark?)

Peri’s a little dreamer. She dreams of her own utopia world, doing everything possible to make this dream come true. She dreams of true love even after some failed relationships and others only wanting to be with her because of her being a princess (or rather the daughter of one). After her broken heart is healed she’s ready for the world again, ready to try again. She also writes diary with every time after she got rejected or something bad happened in her life, she starts a new book, resembling it as the beginning of a new chapter in her life and closing the old one. That helps her focusing on the future instead of hanging in the past. But it also prevents her from learning from past mistakes better.

Looking good is a very important part of Peri’s life. Going out without brushing her main and tail? Unthinkable. Going in public with her very long mane all over the place? Never ever. But cutting it? No way. She also goes to the crystal spa often to relax (or sleep. She literally falls asleep very easily when relaxed).

One last thing: Peri got as exited as one can be when she got her Cutie Mark. Being a hybrid there always was the little question of if she could even get one. So she was very relieved and happy as hell when she got it. It represents her love for painting but also embracing herself creatively and free spirited. It was a huge step forward in her story in getting confident as a young child.

Ahhhhh finally I get to upload this XD the drawing was finished a while ago already but I struggled with the writing part at first (may be because I held myself up with first writing a story of CadencexCapper and how they eventually got together 👀)
Yeah I hope it turned out okay and if I should get the girl I’d probably use her in my newest, currently in planning, universe because this DTA made me ship Cadence and Cap xd

I really like this girl with her puffy tail and her cat-pony-mix so I’m happy for anyone who gets her! <33
Oh and let’s just not mention that this is actually my freaking third attempt with this gurl cause couldn’t figure out a good pose for her. With this final one I mostly wanted to capture her nature before everything else :‘3
